I had an epiduralExtradural hemorrhage injection in my S.I. joint several years ago due to back pain. The injection was the most painfulPainful menstrual periods thing I've ever experienced. It was done at the hospital following a CT scan to locate the SI site. Felt like a hot knife entering my spine. A follow-up MRI indicated fluid filled SI joint on the right side. Could the injection have damaged a nerveNerve biopsy Nerve conduction velocity, thus creating more problems than it fixed. To this day, I think that the injection was done incorrectly and damaged the nerveNerve biopsy Nerve conduction velocity of the SI joint as I have had more constant pain than prior to the procedure. Anyone else experience this type of situation? Also, the MRI showed something called 'Tarlov' cysts on both sides of my spine.......Ellie
