Sagittal Sinus Thrombosis

Can you fly with this condition?
Will a sinus infection make this condition worse?
Can this condition actually cause sinus infections?

My wife had a 3.6x4.5cm meningioma removed via crainiotomy in 2006 which resulted in a superior saggital sinus thrombosis. The main thing to be worried about is being away from your neurologist. As to any effects on flying, She has flown with hers and the docs ok. The other thing is if you are on coumadin you should probably have your levels checked before you go if the doc says ok, or find a lab at your destination just in case. She has also gotten a lot of answers from a website/support group called meningiomamommas. There are a lot of people that have a S.S.Thrombosis there.Hope this helps!!!!!!
