Saliva

Saliva

All the time I have sticky saliva in my mouth, it keeps producing lots of it and it's difficult to swallow, and when I do swallow, I get nauseous.  When I swallow or chew food, it keeps producing more and more sticky saliva and it gives me a reflex of vomiting.

I feel nauseous all the time and its difficult to eat anything.

Has anyone any ideas of what this might be?  I've had this condition for 3 years.

Hi,

Thanks for writing in.
Sticky saliva in the mouth can occur in chronic sinusitis, after radiotherapy of mouth. I would suggest you to discuss this with your PCP as it is important to rule out chronic sinusitis.
