Sarcoidosis & EEG side effects

EEG reactions -day after I had extreme swelling of ankles, legs, headache and symptoms seeming like past sarcoidosis following EEG session, what does this mean? what to do?

Swellling became less after 5 days during which I had trouble walking and felt very loggy and tired in my body.  Now almost 2 weeks later I still have some swelling, the same wheezy sound in my lungs I had with sarcoidosis, and I am having over reactions to minor trauma, bleeding after bowel movements, ears bleeding, bloody sores in the back of my nose that allow some blood to go down my throat into my mouth. stiff swelling of joints

Thinking this over reaction to the EEG which was very tight and painful.  Could possibly be a an allergic reaction to whatever the agent is that removes the EEG glue as I get anaphylaxis from metabisulfite preservatives.  Any ideas?

Thanks for using the forum. I am happy to address your questions, and my answer will be based on the information you provided here. Please make sure you recognize that this forum is for educational purposes only, and it does not substitute for a formal office visit with a doctor.

Without the ability to examine and obtain a history, I can not tell you what the exact cause of the symptoms is. However I will try to provide you with some useful information.

I would not think you have had a reaction to the EEG glue or the removal agent. Given your history of sarcoidosis, I would suggest that you have your heart and legs evaluated for the cause of lower extremity edema. You may need an echocardiogram and lower extremity duplex. I highly recommend that you follow up with your physician treating your sarcoidosis to further evaluate. At this visit, you should also have your medications reviewed for other possible etiologies of lower extremity edema.

Thank you for this opportunity to answer your questions, I hope you find the information I have provided useful, good luck.
