Hi, there:
I had a schwanoma in my
fingerAmputated finger
Amyloidosis on the fingers
Clubbed fingers
Cryoglobulinemia - of the fingers
Finger pain
Herpes zoster (shingles) on the hand and fingers
Janeway lesion on the finger
Kawasaki's disease, peeling of the fingertips
Nail abnormalities
Replantation of digits
Ringworm, tinea manuum on the finger. It was removed by a plastic surgeon
due to the
acuteAcute bilateral obstructive uropathy
Acute bronchitis
Acute cerebellar ataxia
Acute cholecystitis (gallstones)
Acute cytomegalovirus (cmv) infection
Acute gouty arthritis
Acute hiv infection
Acute kidney failure
Acute lymphocytic leukemia (all)
Acute lymphocytic leukemia - photomicrograph
Acute pancreatitis inflammation. And the pathology test later showed it was
a schwanoma (S100 positive). I worry if there is any schwanoma cell left
in my
fingerAmputated finger
Amyloidosis on the fingers
Clubbed fingers
Cryoglobulinemia - of the fingers
Finger pain
Herpes zoster (shingles) on the hand and fingers
Janeway lesion on the finger
Kawasaki's disease, peeling of the fingertips
Nail abnormalities
Replantation of digits
Ringworm, tinea manuum on the finger and what will be the consequence. Further, what other
possible diseases may be associated with schwanoma and what I should be
cautious about for other health problems.
Thank you very much for your help.
Best regards,
Wei.

Schwannomas are
benignBenign ear cyst or tumor
Benign positional vertigo tumors of the

Nerve conduction velocity sheath, individual tumors are
rare sporadic occurrances and are not associated with any

disease. I cannot say if any tumor is left in your finger, I think this is
unlikely as it is easy completely to excise tumors in this area.
Since this is a benign tumor type, recurrance would take the form of a new
swelling in the area.
Provided the pathology of the origional spacimen confirmed that this was
of the usual benign type, you have nothing further to worry about.
