Seizure link with MRI contrast Dyes?

by weesho, Apr 24, 2009 03:57AM
Does anyone know if there is a link to either brain angiogram procedures or the contrast dyes used, and seizures. A relative of mine, and myself, had strong visual episodes after these procedures. The doctor who carried out the procedure refused to admit any link. Mine happened 2 days after the procedure, & my cousin gets visual episodes after every angiogram she gets. It is a Kaleidescopic effect in the vision. Neither of us ever suffered from migraines in our lives. I had the brain angiogram 2 months after severe head trauma.

This discussion is related to seizures.
