I not sure if SPD is a neurological problem, but here's my problem: I have a 18 year old son with SPD. He was treated at the ages of about 7 to 9 years old. The huge problem at the moment is his oral defensiveness. He has got a brokenBroken bone Broken or knocked out tooth tooth at the moment that needs fixing but the dentist cannot work on the tooth without my son gagging. This is such an embarresment to him. I now have to pay about R10 000 ($1400) to get the tooth fixed under anaesthetic as my medical aidAids Aids - resources Early symptomatic hiv infection refusses to pay it.
