Severe Chronic Leg Pain

Hello,

My 19 year old son was diagnosed with migraines in the 8th grade and has been treated with a variety of therapies since then.  Approx. 2 years ago he was prescribed injectable DHE45.  This helped the headaches but caused consistent, very severe leg pains in his calfs.  He's been off the DHE for over 1 1/2 years but the leg pains remain as severe as ever.  They are very debilitating and his neurologist has now classified him as disabled due to the severity of the constant pain.  He's had a muscle biopsy, ultrasound, nerve conductance, MRI's etc and nothing has been found to explain it.  He had been given DHE in the hospital prior to being on the injectable DHE and experienced muscle pain at that time but it went away a few days after he was released from the hospital and went off DHE.  We're running out of things to try.  Has anyone experinced this type of reaction to DHE45?

DHE 45 causes side effects such as dizziness, drowsiness, headache, nausea, vomiting, diarrhea, flushing, or increased sweating , swelling, itching, trouble breathing, mental,mood changes , tingling or numbness of the hands,feet, rash,, stomach pain.muscle pain,cramps, chest pain, muscle weakness, one-sided weakness, vision problems, slurred speech, confusion.You should consult your doctor as the pain is an after effect of the medication.
