Severe Headaches with Nausea and Low Blood Pressure

Please help...
Over six weeks ago, my mother (58 years old) had the worst headache (headache, nausea, vomiting) of her life and was rushed to the emergency room. The headache was worst at the back of her head, near the base. A CAT scan was performed that showed no bleeding. A lumbar puncture was not performed and she was released.
The pain was subdued but constant for the next several days and eventually seemed to get better, but only for a couple of days before returning on a regular basis. She has them nearly everyday now.
Other tests (besides initial CAT scan) have been MRI, carotid artery test, MRI with contrast, all with negative results. We are now waiting for an appointment with a neuroligist.
Tonight, there was another severe headache, nausea, plus extremely low blood pressure (77/52), and an elevated heart rate (117 bpm).
I have been trying to research anything possible, besides a bleed which seems to have been ruled out, and all I can come up with is possibly hyperthyroidism, heart failure, or meningitis (no high temp though).
Does anyone have any ideas or recomendations? She has been going to doctor after doctor, getting test after test with no results and no real ideas. I feel we may be losing valuable time. Her next appointment is not for over eight weeks. Please help.
