Severe nerve damage

Severe nerve damage

I am a 64 female with diabetes. My sugar levels are always noraml (80 - 100 readings on a daily basis).  I have had 7 back surgery, with the most recent cervical surgery in May. If I didn't get this surgery, the neuro said I would be in a wheelchair. I have to walk with a walker and I suffer severe chronic pain. When I walk, the pain is very bad.; I do see a PM and I have a intrathecal pump. I take dillauid orally but it doesnt hit the pain. Dillauid with clondine, bupvicane is in my pump. At present I get 1.60 mc. A neurosurgeon suggested for me to look into cortex stimulator or cortical stimulator to control the pain. I am afraid to have this type of surgery. Is there any cutting edge treatment to treat severe nerve pain. The Pain Management/Neurologist dr that I am seeing said that I have man things i.e. arachonditis, neuropathic intractable pain. I have no quality of life.  I am in pain 24/7. I need someone help to control the pain. I know that you cannot diagnose my condition, but I am willing to take any new meds or treatment to my current dr.
