Severe pain in top of foot after nerve biopsy for CIDP.

by TMNYC, Oct 04, 2006 12:00AM
I had 3 back surgeries last year. I then developed a dropped foot. After sometime, a neurologist suspected me of having CIDP. She recommended a nerve biopsy of which I did 2 weeks ago.Test concluded that I have CIDP>
Biopsy wasn't bad until 3 days ago.I have developed a burning seensation on top of my foot like someone is ripping the skin off. I went back to doctor and she put me on Lyrica.
Can anyone tell me if this is normal after the biopsy and if it will go away? I feel like I did a procedure that caused more damage than good.
