Sharp Head Pains...

by DaniiO, Aug 26, 2008 11:27PM
Over the past year I've had daily migraines and dizzy spells that my doctors couldn't figure out.
Recently, I've been having sharp pains in the right side of my head just behind my eyes, it just feels like a baseball was slammed into my head, it's very sharp and when I move it become very uncomfortable, it feels like water is in my head when I move too quickly.
What could be causing this? Should I be alert about it?

Hi,
How are you?
Your symptoms are suggestive of sinusitis. Sinusitis can cause sharp pains behind the eyes which get worse on head movement or bending forwards.
Please take steam inhalations few times a day to clear the sinuses. You may also need a course of antibiotics. I would suggest you to schedule an appointment with an ENT specialist and undergo a complete exam and tests like CT scan for correct diagnosis.
Take care!
