Did anyone ask you about sciatica, bells palsy, and yes it definately could be related to your MS.  What does your Md say?  Do narcotics help?  If they dont then it is a good indication that this is nerve pain, relieved more efficiently with nerve type meds like neurontin.  Also could be shingles??  Is there any raised rash along the pain area.  Have you ever had TMJ?  just some thoughts to your questions, sorry no answers.

Renee,
I just realized that I asked about sciatica, I meant nerve pain.  Sciatica is in the torso.  Trigeminal is in the side of the head.
Sorry sage

Recently when I chew or open my mouth a certain way I get a sharp pain on the left side of my face. What could this be related to. Could it be a nerve in the mouth/teeth ot eye. I am to the point where I don't want to eat or talk and I am a teacher. Sometimes I could be teaching and I feel this sharp pain and I can't hide it. Help any ideas
