Sharp Pains on side on Head

by jazyj, Jun 23, 2007 12:00AM
I have been having a very sharp pain on the right side of my head.  It feels like someone is stiking a knife into my head and pulling it out.  The pain only lasts seconds then goes away only to come back.  This happens several times during the day.  It wakes me from sleep.  I have no other symptoms.  Should I see a doctor?  Someone had told me it was just a bad nerve.  What do you think
