Sharp head pain with dizziness

Hello, I am a 37 year old female who just underwent surgery on Dec,3rd 2010 for a large pituitary Tumor. I was told that everything went well. I spent a few days in the critical care unit because they were having some trouble keeping my sugar and bp under control. I was released on the 9th of December and thought all was well. But about 3 days after I came home I started getting really dizzy when going from sitting to standing position also upon these dizzy feelings I also get a very sharp pain that is so intense I usually feel as though I am going to pass out. It happens about every time I try to stand. I have spoke to my Doctor and also my Neurosurgeon. But I still haven"t been given any reasons as to why this could be happening. Also I was told that I have a (CSF) leak and they are trying to wait and see if it heals itself. I don't know how much more of this I can take. I have two small girls to take care of, And I can't do that with all of this going on. So PLEASE if anyone has any idea as to what this all could be I would greatly appreciate it. Thanks so much

I have been told that lying down will help the csf leak. And I have been trying to stay on flat on my back as much as possible. And I have been drinking plenty. My bp isn't to bad. But it doesn't seem to matter if its 5 minutes or 5 hours when I try to stand I get real dizzy, and my head seems to get hot then the pain comes. I usually just have to hold on to something until it all passes. I hope all of this goes away and I get back to having a normal life. I would just love to know how long it will all take. Thanks a bunch for info and help

Just wondering ...with the leak are you supposed to stay on your back and get up infrequently?

are  you hydrating?   60-80 oz water?
what is your blood pressure now? and do you know about orthostatic hypotension?   this is the drop of your BP on standing from laying down a long time, it makes you dizzy,  but the sharp pain, not sure unless it's related to the CSF leak
