Sharp head pains . MRI shows two spots scared

Hi I am awaitng a lumbar punture . I had two MRI scans one w contrast and one without. It came back showing two spots on the frontal lobe of my brain. 1 cm . Neurologist says he cannot tell what it is  , if its just inflammtion or not. I have a clinical history of neuroblastoma tumor in abdomen at age 12. Succesful surgery , got all of the tumor. Is it possible this is MS or brain tumor. Why doesn't scan show . TY very much Kit

Spots on the brain may mean a lot of things.   Sometimes it is completely benign.  Sometimes, they're due to migraines, demyelinating problems or infections.  a lumbar puncture may help resolve it.   a good quality MRI with contrast can too.   The best thing is to repeat the MRI in a few months ( 3- 6) and report any symptoms you might be having to your neurologist.
