Sharp pain ,warm sensation

by mel19751211, Dec 19, 2007 01:56PM
I get a very fast sharp pain in the lower left side in the back of my head.  It feels very painful and lasts only 5 seconds, with a warm sensation after.  It is always in the same spot.

Hi

How often do you feel this pain? Does any activity trigger this symptom? Have you recently experienced any head or neck injury?

Your symptom would primarily suggest a nerve impingement/compression, probably at the upper cervical level, which could be causing the sharp pain. It might be suggestive of a degenerative disc disease  or vertebral malalignment.

If your symptoms persist, you should at least have it evaluated by a physician.

Hope this helps.
