Sharp shooting Pains

by meredith7221, Oct 22, 2008 01:39PM
for the last 5 days I have had a sharp shooting pain on the right side of my head, it is about 1 inch up and 1/2 inch back from my ear. It is not constant, it comeos and goes, when it does come the pains last 1-2 seconds and i usually get several in a row. Each time the pain hits it makes me have to stop what I am doing it hurts so bad. I have even had trouble sleeping due to this.I have not been sick or anything. This is making me very concerned. Could you please give me some ideas as to what could be causing this.
