I have had burning in my feet due to neuropathy for several years. I am on Gabapentin for the burning. Just over two weeks ago I got Shingles above my left eye, around my eye and in my left eye. I still have it. Since I got Shingles, all the burning that I had in my feet is gone. What is the connection? Will the burning come back after the Shingles heals?
It may not be related. The singles and the disappearance of burning feet. It could be that the shingles pain could be masking your burning sensation. Also, the painkillers you are taking for the shingles could have helped with your other symptoms.
