Should i take Cortisone

by M4Y0U, Oct 02, 2009 11:59AM
I have chronic pain for about 4 months. I feel really bad. Constant tight neck, jaw clenching, pressure in the forehead and sinus, tooth ache, back ache... I feel its all due to my neck, its like have gum stuck in the upper back and middle neck.

I'm seeing a chiro for about 2 months with no improvement at all. I feel its getting worse each day and i'm afraid i have something reall bad going on.

I don't know what to do to feel normal again. I tried some brozamepam to releive some anxiety due to my medical condition and i tried Ativan too... I stoped since i don't want to be addicted and suffer from the withdrawal sindrome (syndrome).

I need something that will releive the tension and pain. I tried some anti-inflammatories, tylenol , aspirin, nothing works...

I know it's not the good way to heal to be on pills but i wanna feel normal a bit... after 4 months of suffering i forgot what it is to be normal and i think it's leading me to a depression. I feel really bad and sick.

Do you recommend Cortisone ( or Cortisone injections in the neck ) or any other meds that could make me feel a bit normal? Can i be suffering from an infection of the nervous system, should i have a spinal tap? Should i take some anti-biotic just in case? I don't know what to do no more.

I'm only 22 years old and i always have been a happy and intelligent guy who was kinda laughing at negative people and depressed people and now i feel like i'm gonna die.

Thanks if you can answer me

It rather sounds as if you have sustained an injury.
