Shoulder Pain and finger numbness

Shoulder Pain and finger numbness

I'm a 27 year old male and im having pains in my shoulder. Ive had pain in my shoulder for about a year now from work and just recently decided to see a doctor for it. My right shoulder feels really unstable.  I have a dull throbbing ache in the back of my shoulder and a dull (sometimes sharp)pain in the front of my shoulder. Pain also radiates down my arm to my elbow. I basically have full range of motion but it does bother me to lift my arm above my head sometimes or hold it out to the side. I would also say I think I have pretty good strength with it also. Recently I tried to toss a baseball around with my little brother and it just didnt feel right. I was throwing from about 10 to 15 ft at first and then moved back to about 30 ft. I tried to wizz one when i felt i was warmed up at about 60 ft and it sent a crippling pain basically thru out my whole right side I had never felt anything like it. It took a good 25 or 30 seconds for me to even be able to talk. I played ball right trough college and never had a problem with my shoulder. Its been about 2 weeks since that incident and its still the same old throbby shoulder. I tried to play catch again just to see how it felt and it still doesnt feel right. It really bothers me when I have the ball in what they call the cocking phase and the follow thru of throwing. Its starting to affect my every day activities as well. Things like shifting my truck or reaching for the radio. My shoulder gets tired holding my cell phone to my ear after about 15 seconds. My fingers get numb at times specifically my middle to pinky fingers. Oh yeah and then theres the pins and needles in my right side upper back. I have no clue if the last 2 symptoms are related to my shoulder but any answer would be appreciated. I have to wait until july 22nd to see a shoulder specialist. I did see my works doctor a while back and she diagnosed it as tendonitis and sent me back to work after a week off, some anti inflammatories, and a couple rounds of physical therapy. I continue to do some shoulder excercises but they dont seem to be working.
