Shoulder and arm pain

Can shoulder pain be caused in the rotator cuff by a traffic accident? I was hit from the rear by a big SUV, my car is a Honda Stationwagon. I saw the accident coming and tensed myself, particulary on the left side. I hit my left knee into to dashboard, and hit the back of head on the headrest. All of those actions happened twice. My neurosurgeon said the two bulging discs in the next are not from the accident. Plus he said the pain in my shoulder and arm is not from the neck, but possibly from the rotator cuff. By the time I saw the ER Dr. 3hrs later, my left side from my foot, ankle, leg, arm,shoulder and neck were in great pain and hurt terribly to try to move them. That was 8 months ago, now I have pain in my ankle, knee, arm and shoulder, but only on my left side. O knkow it's hard to say without tests, but i don't have my MRI back yet. Could you give me any help on this?  Thank You!
