Shoulder pain: Chiropracto or massage therapist?

by bakugan, Sep 29, 2009 01:49PM
I just had my alignment checked, and found out that my shoulder is slightly higher than the left shoulder. I have a pain( not too bad) on my right shoulder in the back. A chiropractor who performed a test told me that my pain is caused by my imbalance shoulder and it pushes the nerve to my shoulder. My question is if I go to a chiropractor , what kind of treatment do they usually do? And what about a massage therapist. Can those people help me with what I'm dealing with. Which one is better?

Go to both.  Chiropractic will help with the alignment and bring you relief.  But, massage will help the muscle tension and make chiropractic work even better.  If I could afford massage, I would do it for my fibromyalgia.
