Sinus and/or Migraine Episode

Sinus and/or Migraine Episode

I have a question about sinus and migraines.  I have a history of migraines with and without aura.  I recently had a baby and am breastfeeding, if that could have anything to do with my problems.  I developed a sinus problem about two months ago involving ear fullness/water, etc.  I had a problem with vertigo which was almost continuous for 5 weeks, although it was relatively mild. I have had facial pain around the top of the head, eyes, nose, and teeth for about 6 weeks which I am assuming is sinus pain.  I took some antibiotic but perhaps it wasn't strong enough.  A few weeks ago, I began getting horrible migraines without aura.  They are different from the past and I have not suffered from frequent migraines for years.  The pain moves like a migraine but involves vertigo and strong facial pain that moves through my nose and other parts.  Could a sinus infection be contributing to this migraine or could I be having a type of migraine episode without sinus infection?  I have no fever.  Also, could the breastfeeding be contributing to my problems because of hormonal fluctuations?  I have been breastfeeding for 4 months.  I live in a foreign country and am concerned about these headaches, in the case that they are something more dangerous.
