Sinusitis might be the cause (Dr. Deshmukh)

To: Dr. Abhijeet Deshmukh

After seeing a doctor today, your initial suggestion regarding my symptoms may be right.  Bell's palsy has been ruled out; sinusitis with paresthesia is the working diagnosis.  We are trying an aggressive antibiotic/corticosteroid therapy for the next two weeks.  At that point, I am going to have an MRI or CAT scan regardless of the outcome.  A tumor cannot be ruled out at this point, but there is nothing to indicate that my current symptoms are going to worsen between now and the imaging.  I consider this to be a reason for hope.

Funny thing about doctors:  they know a whole lot more than I do!  Perhaps I should start listening to them more.

Heartfelt thanks for all your help, Doc.  This is really a great service.
