Skin Burning

I hope this is posted in the right place.  I had posted a question in the STD forum and was assured I do not have an std and at 8 weeks had negative results for herpes.  I started with a burning sensation on the soles of my feet and palms of my hands, it has now spread to my buttocks, back, arms, and patches all over.  I am in good physical condition and have a healthy diet.  My question is if I end up testing positive for herpes, could this be a result of it so close to exposure? Can it be stress related? (lots of stress about my exposure).  I have an appointment with the specialist mid March and it seems to be getting worse.  Any ideas?

Pain, tingling and numbness is suggestive of neuropathy.
Neuropathy can be involving single nerve or many nerves which is called as mono-neuropathy or poly-neuropathy.
This peripheral nerve pathology can be due to Diabetes, Prediabetes, Vitamin deficiency, and altered blood pressure status, any nutritional deficiency, and abnormal endocrine status, compression of nerve or impingement of nerve at time of exit from Vertebrae.
You should be doing HbA1C, ESR, serum protein/immuno-electrophoresis, and vitamin B12, BUN, and creatinine levels.
Yes, Stress and anxiety can do this. Stress is the condition that results when person-environment transactions lead the individual to perceive a discrepancy, whether real or not, between the demands of a situation and the resources of the person's biological, psychological or social systems. Anxiety is a normal reaction to stress.
I think you need to do yoga, relaxation and meditation to ease yourself.
