Skin still burns

good morning, I just did an internet search on burning skin sensations and landed right back here on medhelp.org neurology page.  I have asked this in the past but it seems to be getting worse.  I rec'd unprotected oral sex in early December and have been freaked out I have herpes.  I tested negative at 11 weeks 3 days after the event but for the last few months the soles of my feet and patches of skin all over my body have had burning sensations.  I have never had any noticable sores or ob's.  I posted this here because of another post I read from 2000 in which someone had similar concerns.
Thanks

Hello.

Have you repeated any blood tests? And did you have this burning sensation earlier? There is probably a coincidence that this has happened after the event. Studies have shown that most of the herpes infections go without symptoms for a long time.

You must also consider other causes that might cause neuropathy. Rule out diabetes.

thanks for the response, the last test I had was at the 11 week 3 day mark.  That was the 5th time I tested since December.  The third time I tested, the results came back equivocal for HSV1, the 4th and 5th test came back negative.  The 1st and last testing included HIV, Hepatitis B and C, Syphilis, Chlamydia, and gonorrhoeae.  All results negative.  I did not have the burning sensations before December.  I have seen my family doctor who feels this is stress related since I was seperated from my wife at the time and are now back together and I have not told her about any of this including about the burning sensation.  Since my family doctor has not run any tests, what would be your recommendation?
Thank you
