Sleep loss and tremors

Sleep loss and tremors

I am an 85 year old lady who cannot get a good night's sleep.  I thought it was reflux, but seems like it is more a small hiatal hernia and bothers me only when I lie down.  Loss of sleep is making me tremble, but I find I can control it by drinking tonic water, but I can't sleep for belching.  I am currently desperate for sleep and am giving NAET a try to see if allergies are a possible cause.  I read both pro and con on this on the internet.  I am trying it because one of my friends had an extreme digestion problem which noone could help, and th NAET approach made her well again.  I have had a history of allergies when younger.   I just had xrays made that showed all normal except small hiatal hernia on my left side which explains why I cannot lie on my left side.  This had gradually gotten worse for the last five years.  I have no digestion problems during the day.
