Poliomyelitis/hypnogogic halllucination stuff that follows seems pretty consistent with anecdotal
experiences I've read about. After the episode, It takes a little while to "recover." Each time my eyes blink involuntarily, I get a
quick buzzing in my head, but not as intense as the long buzzing before the episode. (I tried to see if it happens when I voluntarily
blink my eyes, but it does not.) The intensity of these residual buzzings generally subsides in a few minutes and disappears
altogether, although it still feels like I have been drugged and I can't really think straight. Is this simply part of the sleep paralysis /
hypnogogic hallucination scenario? Or is it something I should have examined further?
