I have been experiencing ongoing symptoms for the past three months and have posted two earlier questions. I have received excellent medical help and have a question related to my most recent test. My most prominent symptoms have been muscle twitching, jerking, some

Sleeping difficulty. Most of the twitching and jerking appears at night. Earlier at the onset of these problems I felt like I was being jerked awake after a few hours of sleep. I just completed a sleep study I had to be given medication (after one hour of trying) to get to sleep (
AmbienAmbien
Ambien cr 10mg). The week prior I had taken no medication except two pills of
Clonazepam at .25MG strength. One was 96 hours prior to the test and the other was 24 hours proir. My sleep study was
normalNormal saline flush (
perfectPerfect choice example for normal in the breathing part) and no movement was detected except movement of a toe. I listed the medication on the checkin sheet I completed, but didn't think at the time to discuss it with my doctor the following morning when getting my results. Now I am questioning how much taking the Clonazepam could have impacted my results. I have also had MRI, EMG, extensive blood work and normal clinical exams. The only positive result I am aware of to this point is a thyroid antibody, but I have been diagnosed for Hashimotos 10 years ago and have been on replacement that long. I have also responded to Remeron (for depression) but had to be off that for the study (3 weeks off). How much impact on the sleep study could the Clonazepam have had? Thanks for the opportunity to ask a question.
