: I have a strange case.It's of a close relative.Female I quote as she told me to:
"Ever when I do excesive manual labor (cleaning houses for eight or more hours a day), I have this aches in my hands. uring my sleep I start to feel sleepiness in my hands, so as pain in e joints of my fingers and cramps (also in the hands). That happens only after a hard day work (but from some weeks on, also on Saturdays and Sundays). he pain ressembles me as when one take an ice cube in between the hand and leave it there for a long time.  I realized that eating protein powder with milk and bee honey ease the ain and the sleepy hands. Ever since I had the first simptoms, a made myself some testings: Glucose in blood, Uric Acid, Hormones and an Electrocardiogram and verything resulted normal. I am 50 y.o., I am a vegetarian, I take, as a diet supplement, Vitamin , Magnesium with Vitamin E, B complex vitamins and Chromium iccolinate.  appreciate your prompt answer because I am afraid of something worst."

Aching in the hands after prolonged/repetitive movement is sometimes a symptom of early carpal tunnel syndrome, but many other diseases like arthritis can produce similar symptoms. Both an excess of or a deficency of pyridoxine (vitamin b6) may also produce similar symptoms. I would suggest that your relative see a neurologist so that it can be determined whether or not there is evidence of any nerve damage. Depending on what examination and testing showed, a diagnosis and treatment could be determined.
