Hi Dian999,

Numbness of cheeks can be caused by many things, including stress.  For example, anxiety attacks can sometimes trigger facial numbness.  Other diseases may cause numbness of cheeks:

-stroke or transient ischemic attack (although less likely if BOTH of your cheeks are involved.)
-trigeminal neuralgia (if pain is involved)
-nerve entrapment (nerves that go to your cheeks)
-hyperthyroidism
-Vitamin deficiencies

Blood tests that you can do are B12, TSH, CRP, WSR, ANA, RF.  If you MRI brain is normal, it's very very unlikely that this is due to stroke.

If symptoms persist, you may want to see a neurologist so you can get a full neurological examination.
