Songs playing in my head

I'm a CNA and one of my clients stated that she hears noises and songs playing in her head often (not in her ears). She can sing the songs that are playing, but she just wishes that they would stop when she wants them to. Has anyone heard of this? If so, what can she do about it?

Well, as long as she's not talking about where people can't get a song out of their head, then it could be she is getting delusional, could be from a variety of things, so she needs to be encouraged to visit a psychiatrist.  They can give her medicines and talk to her about any stress she has, and then hopefully the noises will go away.  There are county mental health clinics that she can go to and they have all the services necessary for her to get help.
