Sparkles

I have colorful sparkles at 4:00 o'clock position no matter where I look.  The colors comes and goes.  No headaches, no side affects but where ever the colors appears in the 4:00 position, that  area is blurred as the sparkles does it mini firework displays.  This drives me nuts, as I am a musician by trade and it's affecting my ability to read music.  Been to optometrist and ophthalmologist, all eye tests are considered normal.  What in the heck is going on?  Any suggestions folks?

It's good that you already saw an opthamologist to make sure that it is not retinal detachment.  Did your docs mention migraine aura?  One does not need to have a traditional migraine (which most of us think is a severe headache) to experience aura.  Optical migraines can happen without pain and cause strange visual disturbances such as you describe.

I'm not a doctor or medically trained, but I've experienced something similar.  It can be very strange and concerning.  I hope it is a harmless condition in your case.
