Speech, Medication overdose, seizure?

Speech, Medication overdose, seizure?

I was in the hospital receiving an I.V. of pain medications - Keterolac (sp?), Morphine, and Dilaudid, for hours.  At some point, the medication was too much for my system, my blood pressure dropped, eyes rolled back, and I became completely unresponsive- I had to be given Narcan (sp?) to reverse the effects. When I awoke, I was told by nurses that it looked like I was having seizures.  This was not mentioned to me by my Dr. though- so I have no idea if I was or not. I've never had seizures before. I did have a very elevated prolactin level immediately when I awoke, that went back to a normal level when tested again the next day. What does this indicate?  I was barely able to speak when I was brought back, and my tongue is curled upward unnaturally- although my speech is improving a little bit day by day w/ speech therapy and lots of practicing, I still have problems with certain sounds involving my tongue and lips to form words.  It's like my brain knows what I want to say, and I am able to say it, but my mouth is not naturally saying the words, or leaving out some sounds such as "b," "f," etc.  I have to concentrate on telling my lips to form the right way in order for the sound to come out.  My brain MRI and Ct-scan were normal, which makes sense because I feel like my brain is functioning, and I can write, but I don't know why I am having such problems with my speech.  My left hand is also feeling numb, and I have weakness in my left leg.  I am 27 and I have have absolutely no drug, alcohol, or cigarette use, and no prior problems with speech at all.  This is extremely terrifying, as nobody can tell me what's going on.  Any insight would be much appreciated.

I have just spoke to my friends nurse, doctor and consultant who are all saying that it could have been a servere reaction that you had to the medications that you were recieving, that has triggered off problems with you speech because they have all have seen a problem like this with a impatient, who had a servere reaction to medications they were recieving. They hope this has been a help to you
