Spinal surgery at C4 and C5

We're almost certain My Mother will have Spinal Surgery at C4 and C5.  Can you tell me anything about your experience, How long surgery last, how long hospital stay, did you return home or go to rehab facility.  After you return home can you sleep in your regular bed or do you get a hospital bed for your home or buy a wedge or get a recliner to sleep in.  Is there any physical therapy after surgery.  How long is the average recoup time before you are well enough to take care of yourself.  Any information would be greatful.  Thanks so much

Surgery time will last couple of hours. She can be home after maximum 10days time.
Physiotherapy is important after the wound healing. She can be put on ergonomically good mattress on home bed once she comes from hospital. She will take couple of months to recoup after the surgery and couple of months of exercise and physiotherapy for the symptoms to go off.
Times are on average and some people recover faster and the procedure of anaesthesia and facilities from centre to centre differ.
