Spine slippage greater than 50 % L5/S1

Spine slippage greater than 50 % L5/S1

I have a spine slippage, greater than 50 % in L5/S1. (Grade 3 going to 4)
I have small pain in my lower back and have pain going through my hips to my legs.
My neurosurgeon suggested surgery to avoid progressing of the slippage by stabilizing this area.
(inserting screws..etc)

I would like to ask these questions:
1. Is surgery really the only option I have ? If yes, are there different kind of surgeries ?
2. What are the most common risks of this surgery ?
3. How long after the surgery I can became pregnant ? And is there any risk to carry baby after surgery like this ?
4. Will this solution last ? Or do I have to do surgery in the future again ?
5. Where I can find someone who is having (or had) the same surgery for the same reasons ?

Any advise would help me.
Thank you
Lienka
