Stroke due to pregnancy

Stroke due to pregnancy

I had a stroke when I was 18 due to eclampsia.  Also had a seizure.  I could tell that was happening, but not the stroke.  No problems from the stroke and no problems since.

I am now 34.  I have had some dizziness in March so I had an MRI done.   Saw a neurologist and he noticed something of concern.  It is either the spot where the stroke was or hardening of the arteries.

Had a follow up MRI done on Monday.  No change.  So that area of concern has stayed the same.  Could be old scar tissue.  The radiologist said that I have SVD.  That is the first time anyone has said that to me.  It has me worried.  The report says these are not active at this time (which I assume means the areas that were found).

I don't know what to think.  Is SVD due to my stroke from 16 years ago?

The neurologist didn't seem concerned.  He says there are a couple of small non-specific areas.  I have been taking a baby aspirin daily for quite awhile.  The nurse says that she has seen people get SVD in their 30's and go on to live normally.

If I didn't have the MRI done  I wouldn' know there could be a potential problem.

Any advice or thoughts?  Thanks
