Success Using C-2 Nerve Blocks With Migraine?

Hello-
I would appreciate any info on the use of C-2 nerve blocks for the treatment of chronic, frequent migraine. I have an appointment with the CCF Headache Clinic, but it is not until the end of November.My case like most people with migraine has been very frustrating to all the doctors, since successful treatment seems to be such a challenge, especially with my cardiac problems and asthma which makes most of the preventative meds to high of a risk. Also, do the neuro docs do their own nerve blocks or do they work hand-in-hand with the pain clinic?
