Sudden shake of body parts (head/arm/leg) just before falling asleep

About  2 and a half months ago I had a dental surgery for my wisdom tooth and probably got overdose of antibiotics. Then I became weak
and I felt leg cramp, sudden shaking of leg just before falling asleep. Then I went to a neurologist and he gave me clonazepam 0.5mg.
I took this medicine and felt better, the leg cramp and sudden shake was gone. But after taking this for more then one months I got this
shaking problem again and had bad sleep, I felt weak and the back side of the head felt heavy in the day time. This continued for three days and then I stopped taking clonazepam and took bromazepam 3mg instead.
But this time I got bad sleep and headache as well. Then I stopped taking medicine for few days. Still had bad sleep but no shaking or headache.
Yesterday  I felt sudden shake on the body parts (hand/head/leg) just before falling asleep. When it happens I get awake and frightened.
This time it happened 10-15 times. So I could not sleep for 2 hours of trying. Then I took clonazepam 0.5 mg and could sleep for 6 hours.
But if I take clonazepam and could not sleep well I feel weak and the back of the head feels heavy.

MEDICAL PROFESSIONAL
Hi!
I am sorry to hear about your medical problems. The symptoms could be due to stress and anxiety or due to a myriad of other causes. Also, stress and anxiety can often precipitate other underlying problems.

Tremors or whole body shakiness are often associated with drugs, alcohol, smoking, lack of sleep, poor sleep patterns, stress and fatigue. If the symptoms were drug related, they would not persist.

Peripheral neuropathies of diabetes, hyper and hypothyroidism, lupus, and Lyme’s should be looked into. Multiple sclerosis, Parkinsonism, TIAs or transient ischemic attacks or mini strokes, hypoglycemia, disorders of calcium metabolism, hyperparathyroidism etc. and certain epilepsies too could be the cause. Consult an internal medicine specialist or your PCP. Discuss these possibilities with your doctor.  A comprehensive investigation is required keeping all the points in mind. You will need blood sugar monitoring, MRI of brain and cervical spine, T3, T4, TSH, sleep studies, serum electrolytes, brain EEG, etc to reach a diagnosis.

Since a confirmed diagnosis cannot be given on net please consult your doctor regarding this. Hope this helps. Take care!

The medical advice given should not be considered a substitute for medical care provided by a doctor who can examine you. The advice may not be completely correct for you as the doctor cannot examine you and does not know your complete medical history. Hence this reply to your post should only be considered as a guiding line and you must consult your doctor at the earliest for your medical problem.
