My wife found me on the floor at 2:30 in the morning, snoring, but with my eyes open while lying on my back. I don't remember anything until the paramedics got there 20 minutes later. I continued to be confused, couldn't remember my name or what year it was until I was in the emergency room. CT scan, chest X-ray, and EKG showed normal. Admitted to hospital, wore holter monitor the whole time (2 days), had BP checked periodically while sitting, standing, and lying down. Nothing abnormal observed. MRI of brain was also normal. Neurologist diagnosed "voiding syncope". I am skeptical. Oh, my arms tingled and ached for 24 hours afterwards and I continued to have a headache when I coughed for a couple of days. Any ideas?
