What makes a seizure a seizure? I have un controlable trembles / shakes in my temples around my lower eye. When they get bad they radiate down my neck into my left arm and hand. I also have visual disturbances, like pixels, or fluttery things in my view that diappear on there own ( ussually very brief ) These bother me alot and my nuero doc says forget about but he get paid by the GOVT. All was caused by head trauma in IED attack on more than one occasion in 2006
Hello Dear,
Symptoms of mild TBI include headache, confusion, lightheadedness, dizziness, blurred vision or tired eyes, ringing in the ears, bad taste in the mouth, fatigue or lethargy, a change in sleep patterns, behavioral or mood changes, and trouble with memory, concentration, attention, or thinking. A person with a moderate or severe TBI may show these same symptoms, but may also have a headache that gets worse or does not go away, repeated vomiting or nausea, convulsions or seizures, an inability to awaken from sleep, dilation of one or both pupils of the eyes, slurred speech, weakness or numbness in the extremities, loss of coordination, and increased confusion, restlessness, or agitation. You should go in for physiotherapy and continue with the medications. You can try lyrica .Also these symptoms could be due to degenerative cervical changes for which you should try conservative treatment. These symptoms are neurological in nature but are not seizures.
