Parkinson’s disease, then the neurological effects are irreversible, but should not get worse. But if he has a genetic muscle or nerve disease that lends him to this state of weakness, then there may be treatment for him depending upon the type of disease. Some of the top pediatric hospitals in the country are Children's Hospital in Boston (Harvard), Philadelphia (U Penn),and in CLeveland: Rainbow Babies (Case Western) and of course we have outstanding pediatric neurologists at the Cleveland Clinic.
