Taken metoclopramide

In 2004 I was put on metoclopramide for heartburn..  But after about 2 months  I stared having the following symptoms :

Tremors or uncontrolled muscle movements, stiff muscles, confusion, , fast or uneven heartbeats, depressed mood, anxiety,  dizziness, or nervousness.  hard to fall a sleep at times , feeling restless, drowsy, tired, uncontrolled muscle movements. 6 month after taken metoclopramide . It took me more and time to fall asleep and the I started having blackouts and somthing that look like a seizure,. But the CT scan showed me that I did not have a seizure from 2004 to 2008 I was taken metoclopramide.   I was told I had sleep apnea last Nov 08 I stop taken metoclopramide and I have not had any symptoms  But then I found out that The use of reglan® tablets is recommended for adults only. Therapy should not exceed 12 weeks in duration.

NOTE  Therapy longer than 12 weeks has not been evaluated and cannot be recommended.

Do you thing that taken metoclopramide over 12 weeks could have cause these symptoms ?
