Dear Pedro:
I am not sure what "cerebral disrhythmia" is???? If you have epileptic form discharges then likely you have epilepsy. The tegratol is to keep you from having seizures. If you are having side effects from the tegratol, then you need to tell your neurologist. It might be that your level is not in the proper range. Check with your neurologist. Too high of a level might cause you dizziness. If your level is too low and your epilepsy is breaking through, this might also be occuring. So, tell your neurologist and see if she/he would like to get a tegratol level.
Sincerely,
CCF Neuro MD
That is why we monitor levels of tegratol. In addition, tegratol will affect it's own levels.
Sincerely,
CCF Neuro MD
