Temodar any taking 12 mo for Astrocytoma Gr 11

My husband has been diagnosed with an Astocytoma Grade 11. He has now completed 6 mo of Temodar 5/23 dy cycle at 300 mg. The plan is for 12 mo. regimen.  He is having many side effects including choking on food.  He has headaches, dizziness, gait problems and short term memory problems.  His craniotomy was for DX only as the tumor is diffuse in parietal occipital and temporal lobes.  He would like to know if others are taking Temodar on a 12 mo regimen.  He has an extensive history of brain tumors, a memimgioma which regrew and then an acoustic neuroma which had stereotactic radiation when this one grew again.  He had 33 rad treament for the meningioma.  All of these tumors span a 38 year period of time.. He is now 64 with this last dx of an Astrocytoma grade 11. He is a fighter and will continue with the treatment . It would be helpful to know if there are others who have had success with Temodar treatment only for this long period of time - 12 month.
