Terrible Spasticity

by notagain072138, Jul 14, 2009 10:39AM
Has any one with Peripheral Neuropathy been diagnosed with Upper Motor Neuron Syndrome
that has most symptoms happen at rest, ie; night time.
My feet hands and legs have been contorting with spasticity and the pain is unbearable.
I am on Tramadol and Skelaxin but it takes the Skelaxin awhile to work.
My hands and feet go numb and my feet cannot grip the floor normally.
Why are these symptoms so hard to diagnose?
I have had about 5-6 tests including spinal taps, MRI etc.
Can anyone suggest what I should be asking my new doctor.
I am being referred to a Neuromuscular specialist.
Can these symptoms happen after c-spine surgery?  I have had
two in two years for degenerative discs.  I was on B-12 injections for
levels at 236 now at 341, my folate is low now and I am on folic acid.
Can anyone share similar trials at getting a diagnosis?
