Throbbing head pain

by greeny04, Oct 29, 2007 03:01PM
For the last week or so I have been experiencing a rather sharp throbbing pain in the left rear (near the top) part of my head and it feels like it's deep inside my brain.  It comes and goes (usually only lasts for a minute or two) and I usually experience it several times a day and it really makes me nervous that something is really wrong.  I have no other symptoms such as numbness, difficulty talking...etc...  Please advise what this could possibly be and if I should possibly go have some sort of scan or something done.  Thank you...
