For about six months every morning when I wake I have pain in the lower left side of my back, I am 42 years old, Also about two months ago my right ear begin tingling daily off and on much like a bug crawling around in there. The tingle is nearer the outside opening of the ear...it does not hurt but is very brothersome...
I would be very thankful for any help on these matters....

I am afraid there is not enough information available on either of your problems to come up with a definite diagnosis in either case, however I definitely feel that they are not related, since there is no overlap in nerve supply between the two locations. depwending on the precise location the left lower back pain could be due to disc disease, sacri-iliac joint disease or even be related to kidney problejms since kidney pain can be felt in this general
area.
I would suggest that if this continues you should be checked out by an internist who can take an overall look at your probelsm and then recommned investigations from a neurological, rheumatological or other perspective.
