Tingling in the back of the head

I just found this web site, and I saw someone info on the tingling in the head story. I too have had this happen but
mine is coming from the left side of shoulder, I feel the tension, pain and then it goes up into the back of my head tingling. I have hypothyrodism as well as high blood pressure. When this all starts, I feel like I am going to pass out and there is a tingling and sort of numbness in my leftarm down to the fingertips.
I have been reading alot about strokes but when you have a stroke the symtoms do not include the tingling in the back of the head.
I also have not been taking my meds fr the high blood pressure becuase I exercise and have not had a high reading
for a while. I am going to doctor tomorrow so I am going to mention that I may need to have my thyroid rechecked.
If any one has figured out what this is , please share with us. I am too young to be having this type of issues.
